Since the introduction of the U.L.S.A. (Ultra Light Steel Autobody) around year 2000, there has been even greater advancements with the Steel now being used as well as the passive safety designs.
This course looks at these new methods of construction and how manufacturers are using different materials and designs to protect the vehicles occupants.
Understanding these different types of Steel and where it is likely to be found along with what can and cannot be repaired recommendations from different motor manufacturers is addressed.
This course highlights the importance of our role as an industry and that we are responsible for reinstating the passive safety features of that vehicle when repairing collision damage.
