I-CAR NZ would like to welcome Paul Burton to the team, he will be presenting CYC01 - (Cycle Time Improvement for the Collision Repair process course throughout the country starting in Balclutha preceding the CRA March roadshow. Paul has been involved with company production management systems for many years and is keen to deliver this new I-CAR course. I-CAR MIG Steel Welding Qualification
IAG NZ recognises the I-CAR MIG Steel Welding Qualification as a requirement for its Gold Repairer network.
IAG NZ has requested that facilities undertaking structural repairs in their selected Gold Repairer category must be equipped for model specific repair methods. They also require that technicians repairing these vehicles have the I-CAR MIG Steel Welding Qualification, and expect these facilities to have entered into the Bronze Recognition Programme.
This is perhaps an indication of things to come and what this industry has talked about and predicted for the last few years.
Consumer expectations are that a repair facility is properly equipped and its technicians have had the correct training to repair today’s vehicles is now very much the norm.
All those involved with reinstating passive safety during “Model Specific Repairs” are now accountable for a safe and quality repair. Proof of relevant and tested training is now becoming expected more and more.
I-CAR NZ now accepts credit card payments (Visa and Mastercard)
Please phone the office on 07-8470218 with your credit card details.
